SOGC Scorecards: 18 & 9-hole courses
These PDF versions of SOGC scorecards are provided mainly for reference purposes.
When playing either of the two 9-hole courses, either in competitions, (for example TCL), it’s fine to use the 18-hole scorecards to record your gross hole scores, as Get Golfing does not provide printed 9-hole scorecards. However, players should not that the Stroke Index values for each hole on the 9-hole courses is different to those on the 18-hole cards. The 9-hole scorecards included in the PDF, below, give the correct 9-hole WHS Slope Ratings, Course Ratings and Stroke Indexes.
The nine-hole course for the Trafalgar is simply the Waterloo front nine-hole course, and these share the same scorecard layout and ratings.
The scorecards are designed for home printing. They can be printed on colour or black & white printers. They are fully WHS-compliant and can be used in place of the usual pre-printed card versions.
Note that there is no separate nine-hole card provided for the Trafalgar, as the first nine of Trafalgar is the same as the nine-hole Waterloo course.
In practice, the Trafalgar is never normally played from black tees, as it is a mid-winter course and has been used only occasionally, in previous years, when the courses had become very muddy.
